GET TO KNOW ALCHEMY

We Build Food Businesses.

Alchemy in the Kitchen brings together product development, commercial operations, and supply chain expertise to help food and beverage brands build products—and businesses—designed to succeed in the real world.

WHO WE ARE

Built From the Operator Side.

Alchemy in the Kitchen is a food and beverage product development and commercialization company built on firsthand experience developing products, operating businesses, and navigating the realities of commercial production.

We understand that a successful product depends on more than what happens in the development kitchen. It takes the right ingredients, manufacturing partners, financial discipline, and operational systems working together.

That’s why we bring product development, commercialization, and ongoing operations together—helping brands build not just better products, but stronger businesses.

THE ALCHEMY WAY

Experience Shapes Our Principles. Our Principles Shape Our Work.

Over more than two decades of building products, operating food businesses, and navigating commercial production, we’ve learned that lasting success depends on more than good ideas. It requires discipline, accountability, and systems designed for the realities of the food industry.

01

Commercialization Starts Early

Cost, sourcing, manufacturing, and scale are considered before the first bench trial—not after a formula is approved.

02

Cost Is Engineered

Commercial viability is designed into the product. Ingredient selection, processing, and supplier decisions must support a sustainable business.

03

Scale Should Never Be a Surprise

We challenge assumptions through testing and validation before they become expensive production problems.

04

Build Systems, Not Dependencies

Knowledge belongs in documented processes, not individual heads. We build operations our clients can understand, manage, and grow.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND ALCHEMY

Experience Is Personal.

Our team combines experience in product development, manufacturing, commercialization, and business operations. We bring these disciplines together so the people developing a product understand what it takes to bring it successfully into production.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions Before We Get Started.

A few things worth knowing about who we work with, how we’re involved, and what makes Alchemy different.

Alchemy brings product development and commercial operations together. Rather than focusing exclusively on creating a formulation, we consider sourcing, manufacturing, cost, and operational requirements throughout the process. Our goal is to help clients build products that work in production and businesses equipped to support them.

Both. We work with entrepreneurs preparing to bring their first products to market and established brands developing new product lines, improving existing products, or seeking additional commercial and operational support. The scope of our involvement depends on each business’s needs.

Our work extends beyond product development. Through Alchemy Managed Operations, we support ongoing commercial activities such as production planning, supplier coordination, manufacturing execution, and operational oversight. We also support procurement coordination and cost optimization through appropriate engagements.

Alchemy is a development and commercialization partner, not a contract manufacturer. We help clients identify and work with appropriate manufacturing partners and provide technical and operational coordination to support the transition into commercial production.

Yes. Our services are structured around the needs and stage of each business. Some clients engage Alchemy for product development, while others need ongoing operations, procurement coordination, or optimization support. We determine the appropriate scope through an initial discussion.

Start by telling us about your business, product, and current challenges. We’ll discuss your objectives, evaluate where support is needed, and determine whether there’s an appropriate engagement structure for the work.
